Floodplain Management Program Policy
Introduction
The following requirements apply to State owned property built in a floodplain. This policy applies to all new construction being built after July 1, 2025.
Statutory Authority
Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) 24-30-1303: Concerning the establishment of a floodplain management program.
